FUFA UNVEIL PAUL PUT AS NEW UGANDA CRANES HEAD COACH

Uganda’s search for a new head coach ended after the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Uganda’s football governing body unveiled Belgian tactician Paul Put—the search which was embarked on after the sacking of Serbian national Milutin Sredojević a.k.a Micho.

FUFA reportedly received over 250 applications from many applicants worldwide.

According to the FUFA management, Paul Put managed to beat all other contenders and was selected as the best candidate to fit in the position.

However, the Belgian is not new to African football as he has been on the continent for some time managing teams. He has managed some national teams including the Gambian national team between 2008 -and 2011, and the Burkinafaso national team in March 2012.

Fufa has reportedly offered Paul Put a two-year renewable contract and also given the green light to appoint his technical staff. The Belgian will also be assisted by some Ugandan nationals who will later be unveiled to the public.

Paul Put is set to come with a team of five assistants to work with on the national team.

The terms of his contract have not been disclosed to the media during the unveiling but when we get the details we will let the public know about every development.
