CINDY REVEALS SHE WANTED TO BE LIKE A BOY

RnB and Dancehall artist Cinderella Sanyu has revealed the main reason why she admired and wanted to be like a boy while growing up. During an interview with songstress Juliana Kanyomozi, Cindy narrated her ordeal.

Like many other artists in Uganda, Cindy came from a humble background and a single-parent family. She didn’t have a chance to have a father figure in her life and didn’t know the importance of a father in a home.

“It was weird seeing other children arrive at school with both parents, it was new to me” she commented.

She further stressed that her mother was so tough and didn’t allow them to discuss any topic related to family.

” Whenever one would bring up such a topic, my mother would be so rude and defensive. She didn’t want to show her pain,” Cindy realized.

Cindy also revealed that she used to dress like boys, walked, and always wanted to talk like them. However, her life turned around when she joined the singing group Blu 3 under music producer Steve Jean who encouraged her to behave like a girl.
