Eddy Kenzo used to lead a squad of ‘smart wire’ dudes – Lil Pazo

Singer Yasin Mukasa, better known as Lil Pazo, says the act of artists moving with squads is not new to the Ugandan music industry just like how the likes of Alien Skin and Fik Gaza want to portray it.

Speaking about his infant stages and struggles to make it in the Ugandan showbiz industry, he noted that artists who came before his generation used to do such stuff.

Before he could even drop his first hit jam titled “Emootoka” he did quite several odd jobs including being a boda-boda rider, karaoke, and stand-up comedy in areas of Bwaise where he met many acts like MC Kapale, Sammy Mighty Family, Kelekere, Lito Joe Mpologoma, and Jajja Bruce.

Lil Pazo explains that Eddy Kenzo‘s squad that he led was not violent but their main aim was to look smart, smell nice, and hook up with hot and sexy babes who had some money.

He adds that the team included Tip Swizzy, Governor Simo, Daxx Kartel, and Big Eye to the extent that they would get sponsored by the babes and travel to Dubai to chop life and live large. He also remembers when Big Eye was gifted with a posh ride by Don Zella.

“Eddy Kenzo used to lead and move with a squad of smart wire dudes. Their main goal was to look good, smell nice, and chill with hot and sexy beautiful girls.  To join their team, you had to put on those pants that they used to put on if you remember the pants they wore in their Bolingo video. That squad was not easy though for them they were not violent like you see in Alien Skin and his colleagues. It was for hooking up with cute girls and chilling with them in Dubai.

Lil Pazo was born to the late Sulaiman Ssezobwe Swabirina Nakakawa in Kalisizo Jongoza Village, Kyotera where he came from and hit the city to get underway with his struggles. Being what he is today, he was inspired by the lifestyle that musicians used to enjoy, and ever since he recorded his first single hit he has never looked back.

He currently has one of the top trending hit song in town dubbed “Enkudi” which is enjoyed by party-goers on a daily.
