Shamber Boy Arrested For Kidnapping A Child To Sell Him In Tanzania, Faces Life Imprisonment

The Uganda Police Force yet again did a highly commendable job when they arrested and detained a shamber boy only identified as Sula who had kidnapped a child of about five years old.

The child who had been kidnapped goes by the name of Prince Yusuf Ahmed Nsimbe. He had been kidnapped from home in Ssonde. The shamber Boy’s intention in kidnapping the child was to sell him in Tanzania to get a hefty sum of money.

What led to his arrest is a note that he left behind alerting the family and parents of the child where he was heading. When investigations commenced, Sula was located in areas of Mbale around the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU).

The Police CID did not waste any minute and took on their duty of locating the shamber boy until they arrested and handcuffed him for committing such a crime of a high magnitude.

Shamber Boy Sula will be arraigned in courts of law and he is set to be charged with the offense related to child trafficking which prescribed punishments of up to 15 years imprisonment for offenses involving adult victims and up to life imprisonment for those involving child victims.

The penalties were sufficiently stringent and, with respect to sex trafficking, commensurate with those prescribed for other serious crimes, such as kidnapping.

The news of the chamber boy’s arrest was shared by respected media personality Andrew Kyamagero via his Twitter account. Fortunately, the boy was found alive and the culprit is behind coolers at the moment.
