FAMILY

Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine was born on 12 February 1982 at Nkozi Hospital. He is currently 42 years old. He is married to one beautiful wife, Babra Itungo Kyagulanyi, and has four children. The eldest, Solomon Kampala, Shalom Namagembe Kyagulanyi, Shadrack Shilling Kyagulanyi Mbogo, and Suubi Nakayi Kyagulanyi.

POLITICAL CAREER

Robert Kyagulanyi officially started his political career after winning a by-election during the 2017 July 11 for Kyadondo County East. He won with a huge vote margin against his political opponents. He served for only one term and later challenged one of the country’s biggest offices.

After the concluded 2021 elections, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu who was the National Unity Platform(NUP) Party flag bearer was announced as the runner-up after the independent electro commission announced the incumbent Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the winner.
