State Minister Peace Mutuuzo advises youth to dress decently and respectfully

State Minister for Gender and Culture, Hon. Peace Mutuuzo Regis Akiiki, has advised the young generation, particularly girls, to dress decently in public.

She stated that dressing skimpily taints the youth’s image and draws negative perspectives about them in society adding that it makes some people believe that they don’t deserve some positions in Government offices.

She urged the youth to change their direction and take a better one. This advice follows similar advice given by veteran singer Halimah Namakula, who urged young girls to dress decently to raise a disciplined and proper morale generation in the coming years.

Halimah Namakula, passed on her message during her visit to Spark TV where she was invited to the Mwasuze Mutya Show hosted by actress and media personality Stella Nante.

While attending the function, Hon. Peace Mutuuzo recognized 21-year-old rapper  Zedmonk Ssabatontomi, born Kabuubi Akram, with an accolade for sparing time and successfully managed to attempt to break the Guinness World Record of the Longest Rap Marathon by an Individual set by Japan’s Poney of 48 hours rap.

His attempt, Zedmonk Ssabatontomi went 75 hours doing his rap set without dozing, going to ease himself, and only fed on simple foods to achieve the record.
