A Pass criticizes media for neglecting good music, cites lack of in-depth interviews

Talented singer Alexander Bagonza, better known as A Pass, has criticized Ugandan media houses and presenters for not recognizing good music and failing to promote his 42-track album.

He claims that no Ugandan radio has ever hosted him for an in-depth interview and showcase his album, while international media outlets like BBC1Xtra have recognized his work.

A Pass argues that media outlets only want to know about his personal life and not his music and that they don’t value the artistry of local artists.

He opened up about his music being recognized by international media following an exchange of words that he was involved with Galaxy FM presenter DJ Nimrod who was accusing him of having recorded a flopped 42-track album.

The verbal exchange between DJ Nimrod and A Pass stemmed from the latter when he disclosed that the music he records is not fit for audiences where  DJ Nimrod belongs.

A Pass went ahead to sting DJ Nimrod by suggesting that he should stick to listening to music that is composed by the likes of Lil Pazo reasoning that it perfectly suits his audience. At the moment, Lil Pazo is the trending artist in town ever since he released his single dubbed “Enkudi” which many are jamming to day and night.

The song has seen Lil Pazo earn media interviews and walkability lately and wasted no time when he took a bold step and announced that he would be holding the “Nkudi Festival” come August 2024 at Aero Beach.
