Kenyan stand-up comedian Eric Omondi and his family are gutted by the sad news of the passing of his brother Fred Omondi, who breathed his last after he was involved in a nasty motor accident and died on the spot.
The former Churchill Show comedian Fred Omondi died when a boda boda that was carrying him, collided head-on with a Forward Sacco bus near Caltex Petrol Station along Kangundo Road in the wee hours of the night as he was rushing to perform at a certain gig he was booked.
Advertisement. Scroll to continue reading. The accident is said to have happened because the boda boda rider was riding on the wrong side of the road and hence collided with the Matatu as per a report released by the security agencies.
His body has since been taken to Mama Lucy Hospital morgue for postmortem as the public waits for details concerning his burial to be disclosed.

The boda boda rider is reported to have sustained severe damage on both his lower limbs and also fractured both his arms.
The heartbroken Eric Omondi went to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital morgue to view his brother, Fred’s body after the unfortunate news had spread all over the internet.
