However, his arrival at the scene turned into chaos after the security forces started to disperse the people who had turned up for the meeting.  They were sent away and had to run for their safety after police and military resorted to using tear gas and live bullets.

According to an eyewitness, the situation was calm and there was no need for an alarm or emergency for police or military to come and intervene. But out of the blue, they appeared from nowhere and started chasing away the people who had gathered to meet their leaders.

Many of the affected residents who are now homeless and lack the basic needs of life to survive, wanted to express their grievances to their leaders.
