Embakasi East Constituency MP Paul Ongili Owino a.k.a Babu Owino endorsed popular comedian Eric Omondi for an MP seat in the 2027 Keyan Parliament.
Babu Owino backed Eric Omondi as a fit candidate to serve in parliament during the virgil of his young brother Fred Omondi who recently breathed his last following a nasty accident that he was involved.

Babu Wino, hence noted that by 2026, Eric Omondi is going to be assigned a constituency in Nairobi that he will represent.
“Eric Omondi has been helping Kenyans. He should be an MP in 2027. By 2026, we will assign him a constituency in Nairobi. I am sure he will be an MP” – Babu Owino Embakasi East MP said during Fred Omondi’s virgil.
Comedian Fred Omondi’s send off attracted several high-profile officials and celebrities including former prime minister Raila Odinga, Governor James Orengo, and Jalang’o, Prince Indah, Amber Ray, Terence Creative, and Kennedy Rapudo were all in present.
He was laid to rest in Sega, Siaya county on Saturday June 29 and this showed how impactful Eric Omondi is to the society since he managed to attract all powerful individuals to attend his brother’s funeral.
When Fred Omondi was being lowered to his final resting place, Eric Omondi turned motional and wept as his wife tried to console him and Kenyans have sent sent him overwhelming number of condolence messages comforting him during this trying moment.
