Producer Didi Dismisses Suicide Rumors

Producer Didi

Earlier in the day, rumors spread revealing how renowned music producer Abdul Karim Muchwa alias Didi had contemplated ending his own life by committing suicide.

The reports made rounds disclosing that Producer Didi had taken the decision to terminate his life due to depression and finding himself in the position of feeling dejected and stigmatized ever since he publicly opened up about battling HIV/AIDS.

Speaking to someone very close to him, Didi came clean about the suicide allegations, dismissing them before he termed them as false and untrue.

Based on the update concerning his life, Didi says he is unfazed by what people talk about him affirming that his agenda is to fight stigma out of Uganda and create an environment that is favorable and conducive for everyone battling HIV/AIDS.

He is also committed to continuing to create his Living with HIV movie series that are occasionally published via all his social media platforms to create awareness about the virus.

Producer Didi joins the likes of MC Kats, the late Philly Bongole Lutaaya, and Super Charger as public figures who freely and openly declared their battle with HIV with the nation.
Didi is a prominent audio music producer who made himself a name when he produced super hit songs including Stimani Remix by Eddy Kenzo, “Emikoono Wagulu” & “My Miss” by Coco Finger among many other hit singles that made him popular around 2010.
His life took a negative turn when he was arrested and detained for releasing an obscene and vulgar lyrics song and video with a female singer known as Pandol and ended up being remanded in Luzira for several months.
His studio equipment got hijacked and when he was set free, he didn’t manage to recover his assets, and his life was never lit again as back then.
