Pastor Mondo: I’m going to sign Shs100m and give to Eddy Kenzo for marrying Hon. Nyamutooro

Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha, a Uganda gospel preacher, who relocated to America has promised to sign a cheque of Shs 100m and give it to singer Eddy Kenzo congratulating him upon taking a serious step in his relationship by visiting Hon. Phiona Nyamutooro‘s parents in a beautiful Kukyala ceremony. 

He made the statement while speaking in an interview where he disclosed that he had been invited to the function but was not able to make it due to personal reasons. 

“I want to congratulate Eddy Kenzo and Hon. Phiona Nyamutooro on taking a serious step in their relationship by holding a beautiful Kukyala ceremony. I am going to sign a cheque of Shs100m and give it to Eddy Kenzo”, He said.

The colorful Kukyala ceremony between Eddy Kenzo and Hon. Phiona Nyamutooro took place on the 29th of June in Buziga and was attended by guests on only an invite basis. 

Pastor Mondo went ahead to sting musicians who are not engaged or married stating that they are not proper musicians reasoning most of them have smelly armpits and bad mouth odor as the reason why they move around chewing marijuana. 

He explained that when a person gets married to a woman, their life changes and view life from a different perspective compared to those who are single.

“Any musician without a wife is not a musician. Those are not proper musicians because most of them have smelly armpits, and smelly mouths because they move while eating Marijuana, and kabotongo. When a person gets a wife he improves everything. In Uganda, I don’t have a family there”, Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha stated in an interview with Spark TV on the DailySoup show.

In the same interview, when Pastor Mondo was asked to explain his relationship with female Kenyan Pastor, Natasha, he was quick to claim that they’re just friends and nothing much that unites them. 

He maintained that he is currently single and the ladies who claim to be his best friends and very close to him are just trying to cling beside him yet he is not interested in them. 

Additionally, he backed his son Kim Swagga for making amends with Bad Black with whom they have a child named Davina for co-parenting, and requested that if they can, they should give birth to more children. 

He noted that he would love to have several grandchildren rather than just having one noting that he loves having fun with grandchildren. 

It should be recalled that Pastor Mondo, fled the country to Kenya after he was granted bail as he battled charges of involvement in a multi-billion scam with singer-turned-presidential assistant envoy on Kampala affairs, Catherine Kusasira who has since also relocated to Canada. 

Kusasira traveled to Canada a few months back on claims that she had traveled to seek treatment of her throat and lungs since he was struggling with breathing as she was said to have had lots of meat within her body that needed to be cleared. 

Pastor Mondo, also declared that he will be returning to the country in 2025 in preparation to challenge the incumbent member of parliament of his home area Busujju County in the forthcoming 2026 general elections. 

“The MP representing my home area better get ready because I’m coming for your seat in Parliament. I come from Busujju, Mityana, Nsinsi village that is where I will be buried when I breathe my last”, He added.

The MP occupying the position is Hon. Lukyamuzi David Kalwanga and Pastor Mondo has since warned to firm his grip reasoning that he has done quite very little to impress the members that he represents in Parliament.
