Viboyo reveals being denied to feature in ‘Millennium’ song with Bobi Wine

Viboyo gets NUP card

Veteran musician and video director Viboyo Oweyo shared a story about how he and Bobi Wine were bounced from featuring in the “Millennium” song back in the years.

He disclosed that they had been going to Nile Breweries every day to join the musicians who were chose to be part of the project to rehearse and watch the then-stars, hoping to land a chance to feature in the song. All their efforts went unnoticed when they were denied the chance to feature in the song.

However, when they learned of the video shoot, they traveled to the National Theatre and arrived there as early as 5 AM because they were tipped that the selected artists would set off from that point to go for the shoot in Entebbe.

Despite coming on time, they had to wait until 9 AM before being told that the contingent had changed the plan and had already left for Resort Beach, in Entebbe.

Bobi Wine and Viboyo decided to follow them up when they hurried to the taxi park and boarded a taxi to the beach were they found the crew ready to take the video shoot though Steve Jean was not happy to see them at the venue since he was glad that he had left them behind.

Dressed impressively in their outfits that had been bought them by their colleague from Europe, Steve Jean, the brains behind the video production, barred them from featuring in the video despite KidFox’s pleas saying they were too smart to feature in the video than the rest of the artists.
