Kenyan President, H.E William Ruto has fired the entire Cabinet Secretaries and Attonery general Justin Muturi following the recently concluded anti- government protests that were led by the youth.
It is only Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi who survived being shown the exit door since he is the Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary.

The sacking of the Cabinet Secretaries comes as a response to the youth-led protests that spanned for about a week following the passing of the financial Bill 2024 and President Ruto scrapped after the youth demanded that he steps down as the nations president.
In what we have learned is that President Ruto has maintained that the government will continue running its projects under the guidance of Principal Secretaries and other stakeholder’s who are influential and relevant officials.

Scroll to continue reading. “Upon reflection, listening keenly to what the people of Kenya have said and after a holistic appraisal of the performance of my Cabinet and its achievements and challenges, I have, in line with the powers given to me by Article 152(1) and 152(5)(b) of the Constitution and Section 12 of the Office of the Attorney-General Act, decided to dismiss with immediate effect all the Cabinet Secretaries and the Attorney-General from the Cabinet of the Republic of Kenya except the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs,” he announced.
He furthermore disclosed that he would most strategies that he plans to take as measures to solve the problems that are affecting the country.
