Jowy Landa reveals she looks up to Ayra Starr who inspires her a lot

Recording and performing artist Jowy Landa, legally known as Joan Namugerwa, stunned her followers when she disclosed that she looks up to Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe a.k.a Ayra Starr.

The Team No Sleep (TNS) singer noted that Ayra Starr inspires her a lot and only dreams of reaching the level at which she is in the music industry.

“I look up to Ayra Starr. She Inspires me a lot”, Jowy Landa on her source of inspiration in music.

When asked if she wasn’t a musician, what else would she be doing by now, she responded by stressing that she would have been a music teacher but when music happened she decided to bury the dream of becoming a music teacher and focused on pushing his career forward.

“If I wasn’t a musician, I would have become a music teacher because I studied music at school at my O-level, and was the subject that I loved the most. I hated Chemistry, Physic, Math, and Biology”, Jowy Landa.

Going further, the “Wire Wire” singer also spoke up about her temper issues saying she is a very short-tempered person but her manager knows how to cool her down.

She also noted that she is upset, she breaks down in tears and at that moment, she certainly doesn’t want anybody to get close to her until she calms down.

Depression

Speaking about her former management Jowy Landa explained that she used to be mistreated a lot as she would sometimes be beaten and bullied by her manager to the extent that the guy would take away her phones and switch them off as she was being treated like a child.

She further stressed that when all that mistreatment happened, she went into depression for a full year and as a result, she stopped doing music as she needed time to recover from being bullied where she wasn’t even permitted to meet her boyfriend and meet her conjugal rights.

However, all that came to a sudden end when a friend of her’s who was out of the country intervened and helped her land a new management team that breathed fresh air into her music career.

Since then, Jowy Landa has been glad that life is now soft, financially doing well, and releasing good music.

She also opened up about how her former manager threatened to bewitch her so that she would fail in music but at the moment she has the last laugh because everything is taking the proper direction that she ever desired in her music career.

Jowy Landa scoffed at her former manager who threatened to bewitch her saying he needed to return to the witch doctor and give him a refund of his money because his charm did not work.
