Lil Pazo faces backlash for release of late Kato Lubwama’s ‘Kilabe Ebiiso’ remake without permission

Lunabe Edutainment singer Yasin Mukasa, known by the stage name Lil Pazo, has been accused of plagrism after re-doing a song by the late Hon. Kato Lubwama without first seeking permission.

Lil Pazo’s act has earned him a stern warning from the late singer’s son Saabwe Conrad Lubwama and John Segawa after he allegedly disrespected the works of the late.

The song, titled “Irena”, was originally called “Kilabe Ebiiso” and was dedicated to singer Irene Ntale who Lil Pazo is deep in love with.

The accused has yet to make a statement about the matter but has been warned that plagiarism and copyright infringement is a crime.

For the past couple of weeks, Lil Pazo has been the talk of the town ever since he released his smash hit “Enkudi” that ignited mixed reviews from fellow musicians and music analysts.

The song saw him land several interviews both on mainstream media and digital platforms becoming a regular on our sets and mobile phones.

His expression for affection toward Irene Ntale sparked more buzz and vibe for his name and when Ntale responded in a positive way, she also earned herself a nickname as “Mrs. Nkudi” a thing that helped her promote her new song titled ‘Mpa Nkuwe’.

With this latest controversy, we believe the hype on Lil Pazo’s name is just going to surge than it has been of late.
