Renowned events promoter and state minister for gender, labor, and social development Balaam Barugahare Ateenyi has attacked the National Unity Platform president Bobi Wine calling him stingy yet he is a wealthy man.
According to Balaam, Bobi Wine is a very wealthy man with huge figures in his account balance and many investments in Uganda. Therefore, it is heartbreaking for such a man to call a fundraising drive to get money for his viral loyal fan, Nsi.
” Yesterday Bobi Wine called for a fundraising drive. why do you do a fundraising drive when you have huge amounts of money on your account? Let’s stop being so stingy. The NUP prisoners, about 28 in number have also asked for forgiveness and tendered in their signatures to be freed from Luzira prison. They asked to be bailed out. I have taken their file to the state and the matter is before the president waiting for his mercy so that the children can be released.” Balaam said.
“Probably the NUP prisoners will be realized before the National Youth Day or before Christmas if the president gets time. Let’s just keep them in our prayers.” Balaam added.
This is not the first time the NUP party president Bobi Wine has been criticized and called stingy, some artists from the music industry have expressed their dissatisfaction after meeting Bobi Wine with very high expectations.
