Video| Bishop Zac Niringiye Attacked While Jogging, Beaten and Mobile Phone Stolen

Former Assistant Bishop of the Diosices of Kampala, Bishop Zac Niringiye, was attacked and beaten by a thug as he was doing his routine daylight walks and jogging in Ntinda, Kampala.

According to the eyewitness of the unfortunate incident, the thug who hopped on a boda-boda and sped off took his mobile phone, which he treasured.

“The thug stole Bishop Zac Niringiye’s mobile phone”, she said in a recorded video clip.

The thug pounced from behind his back, punched him, and went down landing, hitting his head hard on the ground surface.

He bled and was supported off the ground by well-wishers who swung in immediately after the attack took place.

Bishop Niringiye was in a few minutes checked into the nearest Life Link hospital for first aid.

He has a PhD in Theology and Mission History which he attained from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom (UK).

He also attained a Master’s Degree in Theology from Wheaton Colleague, in the USA plus a Physics Honors degree and Teaching Diploma from Makerere University.

So far, the Police have not yet released a statement concerning the attack.

Bishop Niringiye is married to Theodora and they are blessed with three beautiful children that they have brought up together.
