Lwemiyaga County Member of Parliament, Hon. Theodore Ssekikubo has shared a fresh update concerning the motion seeking to impeach four Commissioners of parliament over a ‘Service’ award of Shs 1.7 Billion.
Based on the new details we have so far accessed, 186 signatures have been collected.
Advertisement. Scroll to continue reading. The motion seeks to impeach former Leader of Opposition (Lop) Hon. Mathais Mpuuga Nsamba and three other National Resistance Movement (NRM) Commissioners who are said to have shared the money among themselves.
The troubled Commissioners include; Esther Afoyochan (Zombo DWR), Prossy Akampulira (Rubanda DWR), Solomon Silwany (Bukooli Central), and Mathias Mpuuga (Nyendo-Mukungwe) who are reported to have shared among themselves Shs 1.7 billion.

Advertisement. Scroll to continue reading. Hon. Ssekikubo noted that he is looking forward to seeing the motion move to the parliament floor as soon as possible to discuss the matter when the corruption protests are still ongoing.
While addressing the journalists, he added when he accomplishes that, the rest will remain in the house whether to soil their image or clean it by impeaching the four Commissioners.
The last time we gave an update about the motion, 176 MPs had appended their signatures to the motion with each MP giving a reason why he had to second the move to impeach the four Commissioners.
