Eddy Kenzo, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president, has addressed the reports suggesting that he was ordered to convert from Islam to Christianity to be able to wed Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro by her parents.
The rumors went viral after the successful completion of their Thanksgiving ceremony that took place in Nebbi over the weekend.

Eddy Kenzo further mentioned that the critics spreading the rumors are just looking for ways to create separation between him and his baby mama.

He added that any understanding person knows that we all believe in and honor one God and so he believes everyone is free to date any person despite their religion.
“That is not true at all. It is propaganda that is being spread by critics. Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro’s parents and relatives have never made such statements. Why would I even convert from my religion? I don’t view the world as the rest of the public does. Everybody sees the world in their way. It is all about faith and not religion. What you see and hear that people are talking about is all being created to create separation among people. But any understanding person knows that we all believe and honor only one God. So everybody is free to fall in love with any person from a different religion”, Eddy Kenzo stated in an interview.
