Former events promoter and now Minister for Youth and Social Development, Balaam Barugahare, as this evening sent a strong warning message to National Unity Platform supporters, including the party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine while at the burial of former presidential adviser late Joseph Tamale Mirundi in Kalisizo.
In his speech, Balaam thanked all the mourners who had shown love to the family by escorting them and supporting them during the difficult times they were in. He thanked the late Tamale Mirundi for accepting to work deligently and offer his services to the country.
He also commended him for being an outspoken individual who couldn’t accept anything wrong to tarnish the image of the government, especially the president.
However, he called upon his brother and former workmate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine to have some respect whenever he is addressing the president of Uganda.
” I don’t like people who come here to make chaos just because of politics. Me, if I don’t support Mr. Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi wine it is not a crime, but I have to love him as my brother and a fellow Ugandan. Before he formed the NUP political party, he was my musician and I used to hire him for my musical shows. I will fight for him as my brother but I also kindly ask him to learn to give some respect to the president.
He should also give the government in power respect until he comes into power. You as supporters of NUP, NRM, FDC, and many others. Give the current government respect so that the one you love finds you alive and wealthy,” Balaam added.
