I’m more than qualified – Eddy Kenzo on presidential advisor role

Eddy Kenzo, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president, came out to defend his role as presidential advisor on creatives.
While addressing reporters and his doubters on the position he was appointed by the Head of State, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, he maintained that he is more than qualified than what his critics believed.
During his submission, the Sitya Loss star singer explained that for one to be appointed to any office, the qualifications vary noting that some people are qualified with books while others by character and knowledge in different aspects.
Eddy Kenzo highly believes that he is one of the most creative individuals on earth.
He stated that when he had just joined the music industry in 2008, he looked at the artists who were better than him and pointed out their weaknesses which he capitalized to make himself much better.
He now brags about music videos that have almost over 150 million views and his YouTube channel has a total of 800 million views. Just 200 views shy of hitting a billion views.
Eddy Kenzo is also a Grammy Award nominee and with the above-stated points, he considers himself fit to be appointed a presidential advisor on creatives.
“I think qualifications vary. Some people are qualified with books while others are qualified by character and knowledge in different aspects. I am one of the most creative human beings on earth. I came into the industry and discovered a problem. I looked at the artists who were better than me by then and looked at their strong points and their mistakes. I made those my yardstick. I have songs with over 150 million views, my YouTube channel has over 800 million views. I have performed on some of the biggest stages in the world and have been consistent ever since 2008. I won awards and I am an academy member of the Grammys so I am more than qualified”- Eddy Kenzo
