Gravity arrested over moving with ‘wrong elements’ snatching people’s phones

Gravity Omutujju, the Trouble Tabu Entertainment boss, was arrested and detained during his concert press conference.

The presser for his ‘Embaga ya Isma N’amina’ concert press conference was slated to take place at Lugogo cricket oval.

As he mobilized his fans and advertised his concert around the city before he could hold his press conference, the rapper was apprehended and detained at Kampala central Police station (CPS).

According to reports, Gravity Omutujju’s arrest stemmed from mobilizing fans around the city before seeking permission from authorities.

According to deputy Police spokesperson, SP Patrick Onyango, Gravity Omutujju some wrong elements joined the rapper and started snatching people’s phones among other valuables.

Additionally, he was advised to reduce the number of people to atleast 10 and not to use Kampala road which he failed respect.

He was since apprehended and detained at CPS where he is expected to record a statement and be briefed before being set free to excute his duties.

Onyango clarified that no case has been filed against Gravity, but the police was trying to control wrong activities that had been birthed by the rapper’s gangs.
