The National Unity platform represented by Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine, Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi, and the Kasanda Woman Mp. Flavia Kalule Nabagabe, at Nakivubo playground in Bukuya Village Kasanda District, yesterday donated health equipment to the hospitals and health facilities in the district.
A move to improve the health condition of the people in the district. The member of parliament organized what she termed as maternal awareness day with a team of the National Unity Platform’s top leadership who graced the event.

They provided maternity beds for the district hospitals and health centers and antenatal items for expectant mothers.

According to Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi who is the Leader of the Opposition in parliament and the party spokesperson, the people of Kasanda have suffered a lot with the poor governance and are in desperate need of change.

The people here told us that so many residents have been sent off their land without compensation, and the land was taken over by powerful Gov’t people who are doing gold mining!
Some day, Ugandans will happily live in their Country without the worry of oppression.” Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi stated.
To add to that, the party president Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine who attended advised the Kasanda residents to join in the fight against poor leadership.
“You people of Kasanda have the power in your hands to change the situation you are going through if you are brave enough to counter the challenges. I have seen a lot of bad roads, poor health facilities, poverty and so many other things happening in our country. But you should be so strong and support us so as to help you.” Bobi Wine added.
