Geoffrey Lutaaya, an established singer-cum- politician, has all but denied rumors of being romantically involved in a relationship with media personality Faridah Nakazibwe.
On top of the rumors spreading like wildfire, he went on to distance himself from fathering Nakazibwe’s newborn baby.
In the past few days, rumors have been circulating on social media particularly TikTok, speculating that Irene Namatovu’s husband Geoffrey Lutaaya had a romantic affair with Faridah Nakazibwe.
Over the weekend, Hon. Lutaaya addressed the reports, regarding them as ‘false and baseless’.
He stood firm and explained that the allegations were aimed at tarnishing his and Fairdah Nakazibwe’s reputations.
Geoffrey Lutaaya expressed his frustration revealing that the reports started as a joke, but later transitioned into a debatable matter, that saw numerous concerned individuals call him to detail the allegations.
The singer urged social media users to use the platforms well, to avoid ruining people’s hard-earned brands.
Furthermore, Geoffrey Lutaaya warned the people behind the rumor orchestration to stop to avoid the resulting consequences.
The allegations gained much attention since the public is still speculating who is the real dad of Faridah Nakazibwe’s baby.
For now, the former NTV news anchor and Mwasuze Mutya host has yet to air his view on the developing allegations.
However, we hope that in a few days to come, she will give a word about the allegations.
