Musician Big Eye Starboss revealed that he turned down the offer of being appointed as the Presidential Advisor on Creatives in the past.
He explained that he refused the role because he realized that it was a useless position in his music career.
He criticized the Eddy Kenzo-led Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) and claimed that Kenzo won’t be adding anything to the creatives despite being appointed as the presidential advisor on creatives.
He further explained that such appointments made by President Museveni are usually created to keep someone idle and inactive.
Big Eye cited the example of the late political analyst Joseph Tamale Mirundi recalling how he would publicly reveal declining to take on the presidential advisor role.
The “Sula Indicator” singer is one of the few artists who have been bashing the UNMF since its establishment.
He says whatever Eddy Kenzo is doing with artists is just to hoodwink them and nothing positive he will get out for them.
He further challenged him to explain to the public how far they have reached with the amendment of the copyright bill if it’s not just visiting State House as the sole movement that they have reached.
