DJ Jacob Omutuuze, born Jacob Akunguzibwe, a media personality, is of the school of thought that the failure of artists to attract huge crowds at concerts has been influenced by politics infiltration into the music industry.
He believes that the music industry is currently on its knees and under attack because politics has largely taken a toll on it.
He also thinks that the division among artists on which political party to support has made some fans hate and dislike certain artists.
DJ Jacob Omutuuze also blames media personalities scrutiny about certain artists saying it is harming the industry.
He adds that the habit of bashing entertainers and always putting their dirty linen in the public eye has caused more harm to them forcing some fans to start distancing from musicians.
He, however, did blame journalists so much as he advised musicians to always do their best and respect their brands.
The former Dembe FM presenter went ahead to note that sometimes the presenters be doing their job in the right and find themselves hard to cover the negatives that artists commit.
Recently, Weasel made headlines for the wrong reasons when he slapped promoter Nobart for delaying to pay his concert money.
