Chozen Blood, originally known as Patrick Musaazi, believes that having multiple concerts on the same day is a promotional strategy used by event promoters to attract attention to their events.
He sees it as a sign of demand for the services artists offer to the public.
Chozen Blood also plans to host a concert soon, but will not be upset if another artist schedules their concert on the same day.
“I think it is a promotional strategy by promoters to gain talkability about their events. It is a thing they do knowingly and willingly. The positive thing I see with that is it shows there is demand for the services that artists do. It also implies that Ugandans love music so much”, Chozen Blood said in an interview with BBS Telefayina.
He went ahead and added;”So, even the day I host a concert and another artist goes against it, I won’t get upset. My fans will come through and his/her fans will also go support them. I plan to host a concert soon but I hope it won’t go beyond February next year”.
When he comes through with a concert in February, it will be his first ever show ever since he rose to fame around 2012 following the release of “Pressure Ya Love”.
