Mesach Semakula, a former Golden Production singer, has advised fellow artists to be humble and prepare for life after their careers.
He urged them to invest their money wisely and in different business ventures or agriculture, as there is a time when they will be off the charts.
Semakula emphasized that there is no one who stays at the peak of their career forever, and urged musicians to save their money and stay humble.
He also supported the idea of local celebrities relocating to the Western world when they realize that life is not going their way.
Swmakula is also one of the artists who has lived as an example to the rest of the musicians in Uganda following his investments besides music.
He owns the Papa Restuarant in Makindye that has employed youths around the area.
Not only has he created employment for the unemployed youth but also for children of fallen artists.
Among the children of the foreign artists he has supported include late Paul Kafeero’s children and Evelyn Lagu’s son Fred Kasaavu among many others.
