Rita Kanya Munjuni Throws In The Towel At NTV

Nation Media Group of Companies, specifically NTV, yet again lost a news anchor and reporter Rita Kanya Munjuni after she held her last news bulletin on Thursday night.

The mother of one bid farewell to the station after five years of dedicated service to the news network that she joined in 2019.

Rita Kanya expressed gratitude to fellow workers thanking them for the support they extended to her during her stint at the Serena Hotel-based media outlet adding how the 5-year journey has been an incredible deal.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the five years and the work in them. Thank you

@ntvuganda and the entire Nation Media Group for the commitment to accurate, bold, and incisive news”, Rita Kanya.

Her departure comes just a few weeks following Spark TV’s Ruth Kalibbala’s quitting the Mwasuze Mutya Show on Spark TV that was hosted after Faridah Nakazibwe left.

Ruth Kalibbala has since been replaced by actress Stella Nante.

Rita Kanya has since disclosed that she will be commencing her journey next month and she is very excited to reveal it and can’t wait for the moment to come through.

“Last night, I anchored my last bulletin with NTV and will now work my last days with the Nation Media Group. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and wish the very best to the hardworking team I leave behind in the newsroom. I will start a new career journey in the coming month and I’m very excited about it”, Rita Kanya added
