Ritah Kanya Joins Defend Defenders As Communications Officer

Former NTV news anchor Rita Kanya Mujuni is excited to announce having joined the Defend Defenders (DD) organization as a communications officer just a few days having throwing in the towel at the Serena Hotel-based media outlet.

Defend Defenders (DD) works towards protecting and promoting the work of human rights defenders in the East and Horn of Africa where she looks forward to contributing positively to the success of the organization.

The mother of one is expected to deliver quality and contribute to the organization as effectively by displaying her art of public speaking with the ability to communicate to diverse audiences with a top-notch understanding of national and global issues based on the wealth and experience she has in reporting, media relations, and content creation.

Before resigning from NTV where she was previously a news anchor for the prime-time bulletin, she worked with the media house for seven years and earned the experience that has seen her rise to the top and got spotted by the organization.

She officially commenced her duties with the organization this very week and could not hide her excitement as she shared the news with her followers online.
