Isingiro man goes viral after meeting Bobi Wine

Over the weekend the internet was taken by storm after a video of a young man in Isingiro district circulated chasing the convoy of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine, president of the opposition political party National Unity Platform to greet him.

The young man, holding his shorts tightly, raced along multiple vehicles to meet his idol Bobi Wine while singing along to one of his favorite songs from the artist-turned-politician.

While on his way, Bobi Wine noticed and was amazed by the effort and passion of the young man. He ordered his vehicle to slow down so he could meet him.

Surprisingly, the young man asked for a handshake from the artist-turned-politician and was offered a small piece of roasted yellow banana. Something he was grateful for and happy.

According to many people who watched the viral video, the boy expressed true love to Bobi Wine and deserves more support to get him out of the dire situation of poverty.

Others pledged to support him and requested whoever has his contacts and knows where he stays, to reach out and give him the necessary support.

” This expression of love is from another world. I have never seen,”  a gentleman commented.

NUP IN THE WESTERN REGION

The National Unity Platform concluded its mobilization drive on a high note in western Uganda after thousands gathered wherever their campaigns were staged.

People from all walks of life regardless of their age came to support and cheer every time their leaders would pick up the microphone to speak.

Unlike in the previous campaigns, the party did not face a lot of resistance from security forces.

“We have come here to show the country that NUP  has support all over the country even here where some people believe that we have no support. We have encountered numerous challenges and some venues have been denied to give us access. However, we are here and need your support,” Bobi Wine stated.

“NUP is not a party for the Buganda region or Baganda tribe only. NUP is for all Ugandans,” Bobi Wine added.
