Elijah Kitaka says a hit song is not enough to stage a concert

Elijah Kitaka, a renowned Swangz Avenue singer, came out to explain that a having a hit song is not enough for an artist to stage a concert.

He reasons that for an artist to hold a concert is a journey which he is yet to achieve.

He maintains that someone has to have a number of songs and needs to be well-prepared to organise one.

The ”Dawa” singer stressed that he wants to organise a show when there is a lot to celebrate beyond just music.

“Having a concert is a journey, and I haven’t had that journey yet. You know, a hit song is not enough to stage a concert. You must have a number of songs, and I need to be well-prepared to stage one. I want to organize a show when there is a lot to celebrate beyond just the music,” he said in part during an interview with a local YouTuber.

Elijah Kitaka has been actively involved in the industry for over three years, and is arguably one of the fan favorites currently, thanks to his fashion sense.

The singer currently has the most trending song, “Dawa.” Speaking about a concert, Elijah Kitaka explained that he is not in a rush to organize one.

He adds that he wants to have a good number of songs and also to share memorable moments with his fans.

Elijah Kitaka, however, says he will surely organize one at the right time.
