Lunabe Edutainment singer Yasin Mukasa, known by the stage name Lil Pazo, has been accused of plagrism after re-doing a song by the late Hon. Kato Lubwama without first seeking permission.
Lil Pazo’s act has earned him a stern warning from the late singer’s son Saabwe Conrad Lubwama and John Segawa after he allegedly disrespected the works of the late.
The song, titled “Irena”, was originally called “Kilabe Ebiiso” and was dedicated to singer Irene Ntale who Lil Pazo is deep in love with.
The accused has yet to make a statement about the matter but has been warned that plagiarism and copyright infringement is a crime.
