National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine has challenged people accusing Leader of Opposition (Lop) Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi of corruption to bring proof.
Bobi Wine spoke up about Hon. Ssenyonyi’s corruption saga following accusations that suggested that he had taken a bribe of Shs 1.7 Billion when he was serving as Commissioner of COSASE.
He vowed that once the proof is brought to the table, he will take the desired action against him since he doesn’t deal with corrupt members of parliament.
He came out after critics took to social media and demanded he take action against Hon. Ssenyonyi similarly to how he did with former Leader of Opposition, Hon. Mathias Mpuuga when he was accused of being among the four commissioners who distributed Shs.1.4 Billion among themselves.

Speaking to the press, Hon. Ssenyonyi also dared his accusers to table evidence pinning him on the alleged bribe that he took saying he is very ready to battle them in courts of law.
He further stated that when the fight against corruption intensifies, some start to tarnish other people’s names so that they can keep quiet but vowed that he won’t back off from fighting the vice until the war is over.
He also called out those who claim to have audio and other forms of proof to display them all out and prove him guilty of the accusations.
He explained how blackmail and propaganda won’t work on his side affirming that he is standing solid on facts.
