Joseph Tamale Mirundi, a former presidential press secretary, has been announced dead.

The outspoken political analyst’s cause of death has not yet been established since no details have been shared.

The funeral arrangements are in the pipeline as the public awaits official communication from the family.

Just last month, Tamale Mirundi had been bedridden for some good weeks at Kisubi Hospital where he battled several internal complications.

He, however, managed to overcome the situation and got discharged thus resummed to his duties.

It is now on a sad note and heartbreaking to announce to you that he breathed his last on Tuesday night.

Tamale Mirundi is widely remembered for his intriguing analysis of Uganda’s politics and the wars he has tussled out with fellow politicians.

He used to feature on several political shows to the extent that he talked with most of the radio stations around town and some TV stations.

He has been a fan favorite when breaking down issues regarding the day-to-day political issues affecting the country.
