On their visit to the camp, Bobi Wine and his team donated relief items to the victims of the Kiteezi garbage landfill including foodstuffs like Posho, Beans, Rice, and Soap among other items.

He also criticized the parliament of Uganda’s decision to move the August House to different regions saying it is a waste of the taxpayer’s money.

He explained how the money (billions of shillings) being injected into that decision would have helped the Kiteezi victim grappling with what to feed on and would have them start new lives and projects to better their lives.

Bobi Wine thus called upon parliamentarians to always try to make better decisions that would help uplift the lives of the locals rather than waste the taxpayer’s money on issues that do not add value to the nation.

It should be recalled that a section of opposition MPs led by Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi opposed the parliament’s decision to hold plenary sittings in different regions suggesting that it is not a good move.
