AZIZ AZION HUMBLES SERENA HOTEL AT ‘STRINGS OF LOVE’ CONCERT

Ugandan RnB Singer and Songwriter Aziz Mukisa alias Aziz Azion is elated after registering a successful show at Serena Hotel yesterday. Aziz whose music career had stalled for some years managed to produce one of the most outstanding live performances in a decade.

His sweet melodies entwined with the beautiful guitar proved that he is still a household name in Uganda’s music industry. Being one of the best guitarists in the country, Aziz showcased some of his skills with the strings which moved the crowds singing along.

However, he was flanked by fellow artists like Jamal Waswa, Rema Namakula, and Fresh Kid. They pulled up a spirited performance with Fresh Kid taking the crowd by storm after performing a rap verse by Hip hop rapper GNL featuring Aziz in their collaboration “Nakupenda”.

In attendance, the show was graced by notable figures known for long as die heard friends including Nublian li, David Lewis Rubongoya, HonZaake Francis, and many more.

The performing and recording singer rose to fame around 20o9 when he released a hit jam dubbed “Nkumira Omukwano“, “My Oxygen”, “Wampisa“, “Bera Nange“, “Pain Killer” and many others that made him a star that many youths looked up to join the music industry.

His guitar skills and live performance were awe-inspiring as revelers who turned up for the show were not disappointed. Aziz Azion started his music career at a very young age and used to perform alongside the late Paul Job Kafeero in the early 2000s. He later joined a group band where he used to act as one of the summersault personnel at events that would attract massive reveler turn up.

He has worked with several musicians on different music projects including Alien Skin, Daxx Kartel, Daddy Andre, and DJ Shiru. He once missed working with Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) boss on Diamond Platnumz on a collaboration in 2016.

When Diamond Platnumz performed in Uganda in 2023, he rued the missed opportunity but expressed how he is still hopeful that one time he would hook up with the singer on a collaboration.
