Singer Ruth Ngendo recently revealed that she left her old management due to mental torture and depression that her bosses had plunged her life through.
She experienced constant embarrassment and insults from her boss, which led to a loss of self-esteem and even thoughts of suicide.
After quitting the management, Ngendo’s lifestyle improved, and she regained her self-belief thanks to the group of individuals that she is working with at the moment who believe in her talent unlike back then.
“I took a break from management for now because my working relationship with them didn’t go smoothly. While under the old management, I went through depression and felt like I had to leave because I nearly lost my life. This was all due to the physiological torture I endured. I was tortured mentally because I worked with someone who was always demotivating me and sometimes when I would be on set, he would insult me yet he wasn’t even around”, Ruth Ngendo opened up about life.

She further stressed that she was made to think that she is stupid and whenever someone would applaud her for something done positively, she would think that she is being just sweet-talked to feel better.
“He made me feel that I was stupid. I reached a point when I believed I was stupid, and dumb, and not understand because it was a lot I was going through. I lost my self-esteem and contemplated ending my life”, Ruth Ngendo opened up in an interview.
She is grateful to Carol Nantongo who has been there for her instilled hope in her singing career and acted as her mother in tough times following the fact that she is an orphan.
