Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) strongman and retired Dr. Kizza Besigye has announced his political comeback while on a campaign trail dubbed “consultation”. Besigye was welcomed by hundreds of supporters as he made his way into the Bushenyi district.
The leader has been traveling around the country talking to senior party elders and taking ideas about the next step to take.
Dr. Besigye who is the head of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Katonga Faction was expelled from the parent Najjanankumbi party after a bitter dispute involving money. He blamed the party heads for receiving money from the ruling regime during the 2016 presidential elections.
He accused the party leaders of conniving with Museveni to steal the party. In a shocking turn of events, Besigye was victimized and some of his party friends were also sent packing.
This led to the formation of the new party wing at Katonga. It is unlikely that he will join the current big opposition political party National Unity Platform (NUP) led by his friend and party president Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine.

However, sources reveal that Dr.Besigye is ready and gearing up to form a force enabling him to form a strong political party come the 2026 presidential elections.
It should be remembered that Dr. Besigye has contested four times against National Resistance Movement candidate H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and lost.
Although the tide seems so high for the former opposition leader, he is willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to get into the office. During his travels and consultations, he is officially back from the political holiday.
“I have been on a political holiday but I want to assure you my people that I am back in action and I am starting from where I stopped” , Besigye told supporters at Buyanja town council.
He went ahead to call upon Ugandans to wake up and fight for their freedom that had been stolen away from them by the ruling regime or else they will remain in the hands of the highly increasingly corrupt and incompetent government.
“The time is now, Please let’s join hands and fight this common enemy. The enemy of Uganda is President Museveni and his family because he has turned the country into his home. The heartbreaking part is the way Museveni is sharing national resources among themselves” he added.

You really make it seem really easy along with your
presentation however I find this topic to be really something
which I feel I’d never understand. It seems too complex and
very broad for me. I’m having a look forward for your next
submit, I’ll try to get the hang of it! Escape rooms
