Residents along the Entebbe-Kampala expressway have been left in total shock after a driver who is yet to be identified of a cement mixer truck with registration plate UAN 836D lost control and collided with a Mitsubishi RVR with a number plate UBQ 371P.
Based on the update that we have gathered, reveals that the truck driver lost control and rammed into the barriers in the middle of the road before falling onto the Mitsubishi RVR near Nkumba University traffic lights.
According to eyewitnesses, it is reported that the Mitsubishi RVR driver who was the only occupant in the vehicle is presumed dead. The efforts of trying to get him out of the car are ongoing as by the time of this report, the body was trapped in the wreckage.
The cement mixer truck driver is reportedly moved out of the car and rushed to the nearby medical facility for treatment. The reason why the accident took place is yet still to be established as the police are gathering more information.

Going by the video clip and CCTV camera footage accessed, it looks like the cement truck driver’s car breaks got loose and failed to control the truck and when he tried to dodge the cars in the traffic jam, he failed to go past the road barriers and the truck fell flat on the Mitsubishi.
