Family and friends of lawyer and lecturer from Uganda Christian University (UCU) are mourning the passing of Raphael Okiot who breathed his last when a cement Mixer Truck crashed his car in a horrific accident earlier today.
The horrifying incident happened along the Entebbe-Kampala expressway when a cement mixer trucker driver reportedly lost control of the truck near the Nkumba University traffic lights.
The driver tried to dodge the cars that had stopped at the intersection on traffic lights, hit the barriers in the middle of the road, and fell crashing a Mitsubishi RVR which had one occupant and died instantly.
Based on the reports released by Police, Okiot was on his way to court when the nasty incident happened when his car was crushed to a point of no repair.
Family, friends, and students at UCU have since come out to pay their heartfelt condolences and tributes to the late and his family through social media following his abrupt demise.
